Privacy Policy — Mente Despierta

Mente Despierta works offline and does not collect any personal data. Your name, your games, your streak and your settings are stored only on your device. Only if you use Google Play Games or Game Center are your achievements and scores sent to those services (see section 4).

1. Who is responsible

The Mente Despierta app is developed by Rafael González Escobar, based in Spain, with the contact email rgescobar.studios@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

None. Mente Despierta has no servers or user accounts, and does not collect or share personal data (the achievements it sends to Google Play Games or Game Center, if you use them, are explained in section 4). The name it greets you with (if you choose to enter one), your game history, your streak and your settings are stored and processed only on your device.

3. No analytics or advertising

• We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.
• We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers or tracking tools.
• We do not show ads.
• The games are created and played on the device itself; we do not send your content to any server.
• Apart from what is explained in section 4, we do not share information with anyone.

4. Achievements and leaderboards (Google Play Games and Game Center)

The app has achievements and leaderboards. If you are signed in to Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iPhone and iPad) on your device, the app sends them the achievements you earn and your scores (your best streak, the levels you have completed and your stars). That data is received and processed by Google or Apple, as the parties responsible for their services and under their privacy policies (Google, Apple); we do not receive or store it. To work, these services also use your player identity (your nickname and avatar) and, on Android, the Google Play Games component sends Google technical diagnostic data to improve its service.

Using these services is optional: you can sign out or change their settings in the Google Play Games app or in your iPhone or iPad Settings, and Mente Despierta works just the same without them. How to delete that data is explained in Delete your data.

5. Permissions the app may ask for

• Notifications: only if you turn on the daily reminder, to remind you of your game session at the time you choose. You can change the time or turn it off in Settings.
• Vibration: to mark right and wrong answers. It can be turned off in Settings.

6. Purchases and subscription

The daily game session is free. The optional Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) lets you play without a limit on games. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or Apple's App Store with your account in those stores: we do not receive or store your payment details. The app only asks the store whether the subscription is active. You can cancel it at any time from your store's subscription settings.

7. Storage and backups

Your data is stored only on your phone and, if you have system backups turned on (Google or iCloud), it may be included in them like the rest of your apps. Uninstalling Mente Despierta automatically deletes all local data.

8. Children

Mente Despierta is suitable for all ages. It is not specifically aimed at children and does not collect data from anyone.

9. Your rights

Because we do not process any personal data outside your device, we hold no information about you. For any privacy questions you can write to rgescobar.studios@gmail.com.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in the future, we will publish the changes on this same page and update the date.
